This cottage is beautifully situated on the SE corner of Taconnet, a secluded and quiet place looking toward Hoyt's Island. It gets sun all day, but large trees give shade.

A 24-foot living room with cathedral ceiling has large glass doors and windows that make the cottage light and spacious. The living room opens to a wrap-around deck. It has a raised brick hearth with wood stove, as well as a snack counter with sink and small refrigerator. One bedroom has twin beds, a second has a double bed, and the bathroom has a shower. A sleeping loft has three twin beds. There are also twin beds in a detached small bunkhouse.

The dock is L-shaped, with two kayaks and two canoes. A small pebble beach is safe and attractive for little children. A hammock invites you to look up at the largest white pine on the island.
