Directions

Taconnet is located on the north end of Great Pond, the largest of the five Belgrade Lakes. It is about 30 minutes driving time from both Augusta and Waterville, and about 10 minutes from the village of Belgrade Lakes.

By Car
Take the Maine Turnpike (Interstate 95) to Exit 112 B (Belgrade).
Follow Rte 27 north through Belgrade Village to Route 225 (approx. 17 miles).
Turn right on Rte. 225 and follow for 1.4 miles.
Take a right onto Starbird Lane, follow sign to Taconnet.
Bear right at the fork and enter the gates into the parking area.
Ring the bell on dock post for a 5-minute ride on our cable ferry.
The Island Person will transport your luggage directly to your cabin.

By Air: Several airlines fly into Portland and Augusta. Car rentals are available at the airports.		Click here for a map of the area:
