This cottage is beautifully situated on the southeast corner of Taconnet, with stunning views three miles down Great Pond. It gets sun all day, but pines and hemlocks provide shade as well.
The 24-foot living room features a cathedral ceiling, large glass doors, and windows on three sides that make the cottage light and spacious. Relax during the day in Adirondack chairs on the wrap-around deck or in the evening on the comfy sofa. The full kitchen, bathroom, and upstairs room were recently renovated. One bedroom has a queen bed, a second has a full bed, and the upstairs room has two more twin beds. There are also two twin beds in a detached rustic bunkhouse.
The dock is L-shaped, and two kayaks, two canoes, and two standup paddleboards are available. A small pebble beach is safe and attractive for little children, and a hammock invites you to look up at some of the largest white pines on the island.
