Meet our management team: Paul and Amanda Terranova

Paul Terranova has been coming to Taconnet since he met and courted his wife Amanda (our Head Chef) about 11 years ago. He loves Taconnet for the special place that it is and is excited to be the new General Manager. Prior to his full-time commitment to Taconnet, Paul provided Grounds and Maintenance services as well as transportation support at Kents Hill School, a prep school in central Maine. During the off-season, Paul will continue to work part-time for Kents Hill School.

Amanda has had a long-term relationship with the island, working in the kitchen with Don and Mary Beane for many years, and now serving as Head Chef. She is renowned for her savory meals, delicious sweets, and imaginative menus, as well as her calm and gracious manner.

Between them, Paul and Amanda have five wonderful children – Victoria (21), Cleina (20), Klark (7), Saul (6), and Ruthie (4). The Terranovas also have a small farm at their home in Fayette, Maine where they raise chickens, goats, ducks, and sometimes pigs and meat animals. They enjoy knowing where their dinner comes from!

The Terranovas are excited to be on the island together and serve Taconnet as a family!
